There are many methods with which a cup of coffee may be brewed, in fact probably too many to even write down, but in this article, we are going to be tackling the most common methods.

The Cafeteria[]

The Cafeteria, also known as a coffee plunger, is a method that requires coffee beans to be ground coarsely. The ground coffee beans are put directly into the Cafeteria, followed by boiling water.

The coffee is allowed to brew for a couple of minutes, depending on personal taste. After the desired time is up, the plunger on top is pushed down, which forces all the coffee grounds to the bottom of the press. The coffee can then be poured directly into a cup or mug, or poured into a different storage container, as the coffee may become bitter if it is left sitting in the press (however, many people prefer this as well).
